Brotherhood Adventures was born out a desire to see men reach their full potential as husbands, fathers, and leaders. Recognizing our need for adventure and a brotherhood around us, these unique gatherings are only the beginning of a life lived out fully, for God and others.

Kent McBride

Kent McBride bio picture Brotherhood AdventuresKent has loved adventure since before he could walk.  During childhood, he and his brother we constantly on the move looking for new places to explore and adrenaline rushes to find.  He doesn't know what it feels like to be bored, and although he has a grounded and stable family and professional life, grass will never grow under his feet.   Regarding his strengths, his closest friends say he is great at"getting stuff done to turn a vision into a reality."

Seeing a need for men in our country to pursue a life of integrity and be a pillar of strength for their families, he has been drawn to men's ministry for quite some time.  He feels Brotherhood Adventures is an excellent avenue for men to encourage and support each other in that pursuit.

Spencer Stiles

Spencer has always found his refuge and strength — and felt the closest to his creator — in the outdoors.  His best childhood memories involve riding ATV’s through the woods, shooting squirrels with his dad and grandfathers (all of whom are still alive and constant influences in his life), and playing any sport or “spur-of-the-moment” competition that took him outside.  When he needs solace, he still finds it best served in a tree stand or atop large rock, a beautiful view in the background, an off-road vehicle just out of sight, a weapon at arms reach, and speaking aloud to the God that made it all.
 
Spencer now has a family of five, with his first two children being boys that he is watching slowly turn into young men with similar outdoor interests.  His deepest desire is for these two future gentlemen (and his beautiful daughter who was just born on his same birthday this year) to become adults that seek adventure and are fearless with Christ as their stronghold.  He believes that his actions, and the behaviors of the men closest to his boys, play an overwhelming factor in shaping how they will grow to treat their future wives, how they will commune with God, how they will raise his grandchildren, and ultimately how much general peace and happiness they will experience in their life here on this planet.

Trey Dunham

Trey Dunham bio picture Brotherhood AdventuresOver the past thirty years, Trey has been a pastor, church planter and missionary from West Virginia to Nepal and New Guinea. With a doctorate in education, he has spent years teaching men how to know and follow God and is the author of several books on the Bible, leadership, and the church.

A long-time resident of both Wyoming and West Virginia, Trey loves the outdoors and has spent many hours on the trail and open-water, hiking, camping, and kayaking with his family and friends.
