This adventure takes you and your team through a month-long discussion and study on fatherhood, culminating in a four-day canyon hike through the breathtaking Narrows.

The Narrows is the narrowest section of Zion Canyon. This gorge, with walls a thousand feet tall and the river sometimes just twenty to thirty feet wide, is one of the most popular areas in Zion National Park.

PRE-TRIP PREP
You and your team will spend a few minutes each day, going thru the 28-day Field Guide. The pre-trip prep session will help you and your team sharpen each other through study, reflection, prayer, discussion, and action.

During this time you should make sure you have all the gear you will need for the trip. Use our Gear List: Zion as a reference guide, being sure to note what is required, as opposed to recommended.

    • Early morning flight to Vegas
    • Rental van to rental house near Zion NP
    • Dinner and conversation
  • Thursday SEP 8
    • Sunrise hike to Angel's Landing
    • Meditation, reading, discussion
    • Lunch
    • Groceries, lunch and Return to house (nap/solitude time)
    • Dinner and discussion
  • Friday SEP 9
    • Shuttle to the Narrows trailhead
    • Hike down into the Narrows to campsite (10 miles)
    • Lunch and discussion enroute
    • Campsite set-up and dinner
    • Mastermind session
  • Saturday SEP 10
    • Breakcamp
    • Hike out to Zion NP (6 miles)
    • Lunch
    • Drive to Las Veags
    • Hotel for showering  
    • Dinner and unplanned free time
    • Red-eye home

 

FOLLOW-THROUGH
You and your team will meet once a month for the six months following the adventure to talk, pray, and encourage one another to follow through on your Takeaway.
